SCOTT, E. MARGARET “PEGGY” - The passing of E. Margaret “Peggy” Scott, widow of the late Gilbert Ronald Scott occurred at Shannex-Thomas Hall, Fredericton on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the age of 83. Born in Andover, Victoria Co., NB on February 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert T. and A. Muriel (Seely) Titus. Peggy was a member of Christ Church (Parish) Church in Fredericton. Peggy is survived by her daughter Kathy Smith (Ben) of Rothesay, N.B. and sons, Brian Scott (Esther) of Island View, N.B., Rick Scott (Marlene) of Truro, N.S. and Steve Scott (Trina) of Hanwell, N.B.; 12 much loved grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Sarah, Daniel, Greg, Shannon, Katy, Erik, Jamie, Lesley, Nick and Jenna and eight great grandchildren, Hayden, Holly, Grayson, Zachary, Carter, Brooklyn, Brianna and Landon. Peggy also leaves behind her only brother, Lin Titus (Sonja) of Fredericton as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. The funeral service for Peggy Scott will be held from Christ Church (Parish) Church, 245 Westmorland St., Fredericton on Tuesday, February 26 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Anthony Kwaw officiating. Interment will be held in the Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Perth-Andover at a later date.
