It is with great sadness that the family of the late Esmerelda Collier announce her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, Harbour Breton, NL on Monday February 25, 2013 at the age of 82. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joclyn Crant, Swanger Cove, NL, Audrey (Bill Davis), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL, Philomena (John Hull), St. Alban’s, NL, Gertie Davis, St. Alban’s, NL, Janice (Willie McDonald), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL, Amelia Collier, Portugal Cove, NL & Abraham Jr. (Erin), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister: Margaret (George Dollimont), St. Joseph’s Cove, NL; brother: Edmund Sutton (Shirley), St. Alban’s, NL; sister in law: Loretta Sutton, St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Abraham; sisters: Evelyn Organ, Frances Collier; brother: Pius Sutton; sons in law: Allan Davis, Charlie Crant & Shawn Haley. The funeral service was held on Friday March 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
