Peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2008, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her devoted husband, Louis (1995). Loving mother of Doris Whittaker (Gary), Donna Wood (Pat) and Ken Griffin (Judy). Cherished grandmother of Chris, Mary Kay, Samantha, Daniel, Jeff and Kelsey; and great-grandmother of Adam, Katie and Nicella. Friends will be received at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (39 Court St., St. Catharines, 905-685-6584) on Thursday, June 19, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with vigil prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2008, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (316 Queenston St.) at 11 a.m. Rite of committal and interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery ( Queenston St.). Memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated.
