The death occurred peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with her family at her side, of Ella MacLeod, wife of the late Scott MacLeod, of North Rustico, age 78. Ella was the beloved mother of Donna MacLeod (Bobby Gauthier), Charlottetown; Tania MacLeod-Burridge (Doug Burridge), North Rustico; and Ian MacLeod (Gloria Warren), Charlottetown; loving grandmother of Crystal MacLeod; Mitchell MacLeod (Raeona Pound); Chelsy Broderick and Tanner Biso; and great-grandmother of Emily MacLeod. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Ray Jonah; her sisters-in-law, Marie Peters and Evelyn Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ella was the last surviving member of the Joe-Lamie Peters family. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Carol-Anne, her parents, Joe-Lamie and Angelina Peters; her brothers, Marshall, Stephen, Austin and Gussie; and her sisters, Louise, Rose and Florence (Flo). Resting at the McNeill Room of Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, for visitation on Tuesday, June 17th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 18 at 2 p.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
