Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Science Centre on March 1, 2013. Bridget Marie Mackey nee Kean aged 81 years. Predeceased by her parents: Thomas and Josephine Kean; Infant daughter: Sandra; her three sisters: Josephine, Martina and Ellen; as well as her six brothers: John, Joseph, Dennis, Herbert, Louis and Thomas. Leaving with precious memories her husband of 56 years: Frank Mackey; her children: Frank (Ita), Jerome (Elizabeth), Al (Karen), Linda (Jim), Dennis (Michelle) and Paul (Cathy); also leaving with cherished memories her grandchildren: Frankie, Bridget, Adam, Alexander, Connor, Melissa, Justin, Ryan, Nathan, Paul, Nicolas and Jamie; her step-grandchildren: Andrew and Emma (deceased); her sister Margaret (Pad) Walsh along with members of the extended Kean and Mackey families. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday, March 4, 2013 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at Holy Family Parish on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
