After a lengthy illness, we regret to announce the passing of Hubert Nelson Skiffington, age 50, from Musgravetown at the St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on February 25, 2013. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Ruth Skiffington and brothers, Harry and Irving. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife, Darlene; sisters, Ivy (Bert) Holloway, Sheila (Wilfred) Wiseman, Yvonne (Leander) Chatman; mother-in-law, Margaret Penney; brother-in-law, Levi (Sheila) Penney; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. A cremation took place and a memorial service, officiated by Rev. H.R. Templeman, assisted by Rev. E. Wiltshire and Captains Ed and Luanne Burrows, took pace on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from the Heritage United Church Musgravetown with interment following.
