Weatherall: Phyllis Jennet Weatherall, age 88, of Swift Current, Sk passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Swift Current Care Centre. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 from the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home with John Penny officiating. The organist was Sharon Penny. The Life tribute was presented by Wayne Roberts and Crystal Haluzan. The Usher was Adam Leir and pallbearers were Scott Weatherall, Michael Weatherall, Steven Weatherall and Kevin Moen. The Interment Service took place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Phyllis is survived by her son Ronald (Joan) Weatherall and their children LoriAnn (Mike) Kinar and Ayanna and Kale; Steven Weatherall and Scott Weatherall; daughter Marlene (Wayne) Roberts and their children Dawn (Mike) Juristy and children Ethan and Reese; Crystal (Dennis) Halizan and son Jacob; Jessica (Kurtis) Delisle; son Gerald Weatherall and his sons Daniel Weatherall and Michael Weatherall; sister Mardell Kelly and her son Randy Goddard; brothers-in-law Robert and Murray Weatherall and families. She was predeceased by her parents Emil and Mabel Moen; her loving husband Jack Weatherall; brother and sisters, Elmer (Edna) Moen, Florence (Bill) Kirwan, Helen (Jim) Wells and Lila (John) Gates. Phyllis was born in Hazlet on the family farm on December 11, 1924. She attended the Pittville School. She was united in marriage to John Weatherall on August 8, 1944 at St Olaf Lutheran Church in Swift Current. She worked casual and full time at Art's Shopping Centre and for the Pioneer Co-op. Phyllis loved bowling and darts for many years. She also enjoyed going to bingo with her friends, cooking, gardening and spent many hours knitting at night. Her greatest joy was to spend time and play with her grandchildren. The family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Gordon for the loving care he gave her and the patience and thoughtful attention of the entire staff at the Swift Current Care Centre. Mom lost her close friend "Anna Banana" a short time ago and truly missed her. In Phyllis's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Swift Current Care Centre Auxiliary or the Swift Current S.P.C.A. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
