It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Carrie, at the age of 91, in Kamloops. She was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan.

Carrie is predeceased by her loving husband Adolf of 58 years, and her son Marvin in 1960, her parents, three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Doiron, grandsons Darrin and Clayton, sister Yvonne (Allen) Ramage and many nieces and nephews.

Carrie and Adolf lived in Edgewater B.C. for over 50 years and Carrie was a very active member of the United Church Womens Group and the community in general. Always organizing, baking or working in the kitchen to make sure a dinner, reunion or luncheon went smoothly.

The family would like to extend a grateful thank-you to Dr. Andrew Sommerville, Serenity Acres and staff in Chase, R.I.H. and Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home and Wes and Carole Ramage for the compassion and care mom received.

A Celebration of Carrie's life will be held in Edgewater, B.C. at a later date.
