Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 31st, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer, Susan Marie Hicks (nee Grace), aged 43 years. Predeceased by her mom and dad Richard and Patricia Grace, brother Paul Grace, mother and father-in-law Arthur and Theresa Hicks, brother-in-law Ken Gibbons and special friend Robyn Hancock. Remembering and lovingly keeping her spirit close to their hearts are her husband and soul mate Dave; best friend and daughter Chelsey; mom’s little man: Dawson; also holding on to precious memories are sisters: Theresa (Frank Griffin), Loretta Grace, Bernice Power, Liz Gibbons, Hazel (Steven Barron); brothers: Phonse, Paddy, Joe (Sherry), Buck and Bob (Rita); brothers-in-law: Don (Colleen), Dick (Cynthia), Pat (Margie), Art (Sandy) and Dennis; sisters-in-law: Marie (Derrick French), Lorraine and Mary as well as a large circle of family and friends. Sue touched many lives including and especially the basketball teams she coached to which she was dedicated. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church.
