Predeceased by her first husband Ralph Barnes; parents: Alfred and Dora Chaffey; brother, Reg. Wife of Ron Torraville; mother of Stephanie Gavell (Philip); grandmother of Kirsten Canning (Shawn); Greatie of Emma Canning; sister, of Margaret MacLean (Alex); sister-in-law of Doreen Penney; special Godmother of Wendy Decker. Also left to celebrate her life are a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
