CORMIER, VERA - 1930 - 2013 - Vera Cormier, 82, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at her residence. Born June 20th, 1930 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late J. Camille and Maimai (Caissie) LeBlanc. She was a retired registered nurse with the Villa du Repos in Moncton and was a member of the St-Henri de Grand-Barachois R.C. church. She is survived by a son, Jean-Guy (Diane) of Hanwell; five sisters: Nina Guthro and Marjory Townsen both of Shediac, Alice Gough of Riverview, Camilla LeBlanc of Ottawa and Andréa LeBlanc of Montreal; two grandchildren: Natalie and Julia, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Léo (1973) and a sister, Pamela.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, March 11th 2013 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours Monday 9:30 am until time of service. Interment will be in Grand-Barachois R.C. cemetery. In memory of Vera, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology) or the St-Henry R.C. Church cemetery, Grand-Barachois would be appreciated.
