COUSINS, EMERSON - The death of Emerson Livingstone Cousins, age 81, husband of Lilla (Shaw) Cousins, of Hampton, NB, occurred at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre on Saturday, March 9, 2013. He was born on October 8, 1931, in Campbellton, PE, the son of the late Roland and Mary (Collicutte) Cousins. Emerson is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lilla; sons Emerson Jr. Cousins and his wife Jo-Ann of Saint John, NB, Brian Cousins and his wife Rita of Hampton, NB, Carter Cousins and his wife Irene of Saint John, NB, Dana Cousins and his wife Nancy of Saint John, NB; daughter Lisa Watson and her husband Keith of Summerside, PE; grandchildren Sara Armstrong and her husband Michael, Rachael Cousins, Erin Cousins, Ryan Hoar, Carly Cousins, Craig Cousins, Stacey Hill, Alan Lanigan and his wife Melissa, Emily Wilmot and her husband Ryan, Sophie Watson; brother Nelson Cousins and his wife Muriel; sister Emma Rourke; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Alan Cousins and brother Alfred.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8PM. Funeral service, conducted by, Rev. Greg Gray, will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery, in the spring. Donations to the Dr. V.A.
