It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorraine Mavis Drover announce her peaceful passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, March 8th, 2013 at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband William (Bill) of 54 years; four loving children: Roxanne Abbott (Keith), Vicki Edmonds, David (Laurie) of Madoc, Ontario and Alan (Vicki); eight loving and adoring grandchildren: Kelly, Janice & Heather Abbott; Stephanie Edmonds (Kirk Fowler); Jonathan & Evan Drover and Nickolas & Jacob Drover; great granddaughter Rebecca Fowler; sisters: Bernice Woodrow, Valda Young (Paul), Joyce Earle, Joan Mitchell, Glenda Johnson (Ray); brothers: Milton Bursey (Marlene) of Nova Scotia, Don Bursey (Myrtle) and Wayne Bursey (Louise); sister-in-law Marion Duhart (Fred); special friend Glenda Langer and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Harrison and Annie Bursey, daughter Darlene, sisters, Stella Mollon and Mavis Bursey and brother Robert. We would like to express a sincere thank-you to the Palliative Care nursing staff. At Lorraine’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, March 11th, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive on Tuesday, March 12th, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
