Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, March 8, 2013, with family by his side of William Elton Waddell of Crapaud in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Eunice (nee Rackham) Waddell. Cherished father of Allan (Sandy), Carol (Karl), Rhonda, and Margaret (John). Loving grandfather of Katherine, Adrienne, Vanessa, and Craig. Also survived by his sister Annie Howatt, sister-in-law Audrey Waddell, and brother-in-law Robert Rackham. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Margaret, sister Pereeza and brothers Sterling and Lloyd. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Sunday, March 10, 2-5 p.m. Funeral service from the South Shore United Church, Tryon, Monday at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the South Shore United Church or QEH Foundation. Interment in Crapaud People's Cemetery.
