It is with great sadness we announce the death of our mother, grandmother and sister, Mary MacDougall.
Mary was born in her beloved Glace Bay and moved to Ontario in the 1960s. When she could travel, she loved to return home to visit family and friends in Cape Breton. Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Barrett.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Gouthro (Sheldon), Reserve Mines, Rita (Peter), Karen (Allan), and sons, Jack (Patty) and Joe (Annette). She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by her sister, Verda MacKenzie and brothers, Donald ‘Duck’ (Shirley), Ken (Linda) and Bill (Florence) and sisters-in-law, Mae, Ethel and Bess Barrett.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charlie and her brothers, George, Max, Abe, Jim and Joe and her sister, Sarah.
Funeral and burial to take place in Cambridge, Ont.
