Grant Louis Darrow, age 66, of Pennant, SK passed away March 1, 2013 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current. At Grant's request there was no formal service. The interment service will take place at Whitebear Cemetery at a later date. Grant is survived by his sons Mark (Mona) and their children Bauer and Cooper, son Lee, son Mathew; stepdaughter Barb (Greg) James and their children Triston and Samantha; and stepson Ray (Amy) and their children Colin, Conner and Cameron. He was predeceased by his wife Wendy Darrow, his mother and father Louis and Kathleen and brother Jim Darrow. Grant was born on September 2, 1946 in Eston, SK. He attended school in Whitebear. Grant was retired from the RM. of Pennant 168. He enjoyed working with horses, cattle and really enjoyed helping his family with farming. He took great pride in his work with the RM., building and maintaining roads and training people on various types of equipment. Grant enjoyed spending time with his kids and keeping up with his grand kids. He loved taking his dog Precious as a passenger for many tours of the countryside. He was forever tinkering with his car, as it was the first car he had ever owned. He was a hard working man who never asked for much. Grant was a very dependable friend, father and grandfather and he will be sorely missed by all that knew him. We love you Dad.
