Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on March 11th, Augustus Adams (Sr.) in his 86th year after a short, but, courageous battle with Cancer. Leaving to mourn are: his wife Nellie, two sons: Augustus (Jr.) (Beryl) and Wade (Verna), two daughters: Linda (William Young) and Debbie-Ann (Seth White), 10 grandchildren; Richard, Noelle, Dean, Duane, Terri-Lynn, Billy, Jason, Gregory, Kodee and Madison, 16 great-grandchildren: Christopher, Alexander, Michael, Karlee, Heather, Donovan, Ashley, Landon, Hailey, Natalie, Liam, Reilly, Holly, Hannah, Jacob and Logan, sisters: Elaine, Vickie and one brother Rick, sisters-in-law: Edna (Calvin Nichols), Jean (Judson Bursey), Melva (Reg Hillier), Vera ( Robert Boyle) and Rita (Rex Adams), also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dad was pre-deceased by his father and mother Willis & Hilda Adams, siblings: Myrtle Crewe, Marjorie Bingle and Rex; brothers-in-law: Judson Bursey, Sam Crewe, Eli Bingle and Joseph Lear. Cremation has taken place and a private, family, service will take place at a later date (as per Dad`s wishes). Donations may be made, in Dad`s honor, to the St. Paul`s United Church Building Fund in Deer Lake or a charity of one’s choice.
