Passed peacefully away at his late residence Coley’s Point on Sunday, January 31, 2010, Mr. Herbert Maxwell Russell of Coley’s Point, aged 87 years. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Rosely Russell (nee Roach); daughter Rosalind, died in infancy. Leaving to mourn wife Rosalie Russell (nee Roach); son Doug (Audrey); daughters: Karen Petten (Jason), Judy (Barry) Porter, Baby Rosalind (died in infancy); sister Vira Connor (Mundon); brother Clayton (Gertie) Russell; grandchildren: Mark and Robyn Russell, Jillian Porter, Stacey Petten; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Monday 7:30 - 9 p.m., Tuesday 10-12 Noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 20-12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. from Grace United Church, Coley's Point. Interment in the Grace United Church Cemetery, Coley’s Point. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace United Church Building Fund, the SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
