Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, March 10th, 2013. Predeceased by his parents: Samuel and Amy; wife Edna; brothers: Joe and Edward (Catherine); sisters: Elizabeth Robinson, Susan Knopp and Theresa Shapter. Left to mourn his sons: Damon (Sheilagh) and Cory (Lucy) Alyea; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Leo (Kay); sister Jean; as well as a large number of family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or to the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
