Inez Allen

ALLEN, INEZ DOROTHY - Inez Dorothy Allen, 81, of Salisbury passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Santuari Hospice in the Peter Lougheed Centre, Calgary Alberta on March 9, 2013. Born in North Enmore, Prince Edward Island, May 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Stella (Durant) Harvey. Inez enjoyed life by always being involved and helping others, and was a long time member of Salisbury St. John's Anglican Church, church choir, ACW, and an active member of the Salisbury Lioness Club. Inez had many talents, one of which was baking for the church sales. An avid quilter and knitter, Inez always took great pride with everything she did. Her gentle ways and kind smile will always be remembered. Inez leaves behind her loving daughter Wendy (Roy) French of Calgary, AB; sons Wayne (Bonita) Siddall of Kelowna, BC, Dale (Darlene) Siddall of Ellersie, PE; granddaughters Tara and Katelyn; grandsons Shaun, Kevin, Christopher and Brian; great granddaughters Madisyn, Payton, Chelsey and great grandsons Riley and Kaedan. Also survived by siblings Leonard (Myrtle) Harvey of Borden-Carlton, Daisy (Robert) Eisenbrenner of ON, Leon Harvey of Halifax, NS; sister-in-law Debbie Harvey of Bridgewater, NS and by all her loving nieces and nephews and large extended family. Predeceased by her first husband Eric Siddall; second husband of many years Cecil (Red) Allen; step-mother Celetus Harvey; sisters Ruby Noye, Myrtle Noye; brother Leslie Harvey and grandsons Phillip French and Brent Siddall. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts by all family and life long friends Connie, Marion, Dot and Doreen.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800), visiting will be Thursday, March 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with the funeral held at St. John's Anglican Church, Fredericton Road, Salisbury on Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chris Hayes officiating. Reception to follow. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date.
