It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jennie Donahue announce her passing on Monday, March 11th, 2013 at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Robert (Elaine), Halfway Point; granddaughter Kaitlyn; sisters: Theresa (Peter) Farrell, Mary Morris, Agatha (Felix) Hoskins, Jessie (Roger) Power and Ethel Irving; brother Alfred (Beth) Barnes; sister-in-law Gladys Donahue; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew in 2003 and brother, Matt Farrell. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 10:30 A.M. from Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Benoits Cove with Sister Mildred Chabassol officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
