MELANSON, HÉLÈNE - Hélène Melanson, 93, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013.at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on November 24, 1919 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Cormier) Melanson. She is survived by two daughters: Linda Arsenault (Luc) of Saint-Charles and Laurinda Melanson of Moncton; two grandchildren: Anne and Denis; one great-granddaughter, Zélie; several nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Abel; one daughter, Marguerite-Anne; one son, Larry, her sisters and brothers: Alvina, Amanda, Rita, Della, Lorraine, Clarence and Zoël.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
