It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Cunning announce her peaceful passing at the Alternate Level of Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook on Monday, March 11th, 2013. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 47 years, Roland; daughter Cathy (Brian) Howlett; grandchild Blair; special friends: Verna Miller, Doris Cunning, Debbie Dalley and Beulah Wells, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents Harry and Alice Budgell. We would like to express a sincere thank-you to the 3B Staff, ALC Staff, Dr. Griffin and Dr. Smallwood, for the care she received while in hospital. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Rd. on Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from Country Haven Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., Majors Calvin & Loretta Fudge officiating. Cremation will follow with interment services at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Temple.
