FOUGÈRE, GÉRALD - 1946 - 2013 - Gérald Fougère, 66, of 55 Chesley Street, Shediac, NB, passed away on Monday, March 11th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born August 17, 1946 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Jim and Eva (Cormier) Fougère. Before his retirement, he was a security guard at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in Moncton. He will be sadly missed by his six sisters: Elise Henriksen and Freda Flemming (late Jack) of Shediac, Claire Garrett (Walter) of Montréal, Sara Fergusson (William) of Moncton, Noëlla Brydges (Wayne) of Maitland, ON and Rachel Vautour (Marcel LeBlanc) of Grand-Barachois; four brothers: Léonce (Jacqueline), Émile, Ovide (Olia) and Paul (Janice) all of Shediac; several nieces and nephews, as well as a special friend, Patsy LeBlanc. He is predeceased by a three sisters: Yvonne, Élizabeth and Rita; one brother, Vincent.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Center, 396, Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, March 13th, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
