Passed peacefully away on March 11, 2013, with his family by his side at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Bruce Styles. aged 74 years. Predeceased by his mother Ellen, father William, brothers Ken, James and George, sisters Marie, Mable and Eleanor and granddaughter Sara. Leaving to mourn, his faithful wife of 52 years, Wilhemina (“Menie”); sons: Gary (Cindy), Raymond (Cathy), and Scott (Jill); his grandchildren, whom he loved very much: Nicholas, Benjamin, Joshua, Holly, and Robyn; brother Albert (Vickie); sisters: Elizabeth (Wil) of Kentville, NS, and Emily of Bridgewater, NS; as well as many other relatives and friends. As per Bruce’s request cremation has taken place. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl, on Thursday, March 14, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A private family service will take place at a later date.
