It is with great sadness that the family of the late EVERETT WALTERS of Boat Harbour, NL, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Tuesday, March 12, at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Wife – Jean of 62 years; 4 Sons – Lloyd (Linda) of Corner Brook, Reg (Marilyn) of Boat Harbour, Levi (Diane) of Boat Harbour & Roy (Lynette) of Hayriver, NWT; 6 Daughters – Bernice (Norman Drakes) of Grand Bank, Wanda (Ron Matthews) of Musgravetown, Viola (Jerry Smith) of Barbados, Hilda (Albert Senior) of Mount Pearl, Hannah (Alex Murphy) of Parker’s Cove & Lisa (Randy Hayse) of St. John’s; Brothers – Charlie (Margaret) Walters of Boat Harbour & Freeman (Helen) Walters of Alberta; 18 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents – Thomas & Iris Walters; Brothers – Lewis & Harold; Sisters – Edith Smith & Caroline Smith; Granddaughter – Karen Walters.

The funeral service took place on Friday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Transfiguration in Boat Harbour. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Boat Harbour. In Everett’s memory donations may be made to the Anglican Church Building Fund in Boat Harbour. No flowers by request of the family.
