NANCY GRAHAM FORD TEDDER

Date de naissance : 26 mars 1923

Date de décès : 10 mars 2013

Sadly, we must say goodbye to Nancy, to our mom, grandma, aunt and friend. Nancy was born on March 26th, 1923 in Torryburn, Scotland.

She is predeceased by her husband Henry F. (Ted) Tedder, her three sisters Kate, Betty and Margaret and her brother Jim.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (Tom Payne), Pamela, and Sinclair (Eugenie Lam), three grandchildren Paul, Tara-Leigh and Ysanne, six great-grandchildren, brothers Ian (Elizabeth) and Sinclair (Maureen) and many nieces and nephews.

During the Second World War, Nancy served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force in which she received the Kings Order for distinguished service. She met her future husband in London during the war; they married in Scotland, and then moved to Canada in 1946. They settled in Kamloops for the first time in 1949. The family moved several times within BC before settling back in Kamloops in 1969. Nancy retired from the BC Attorney General Ministry in 1985. Mom was a dedicated lake person and spent many relaxing summers at Shuswap with her family. That lake inspired calmness permeated her life.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013 in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street with Pastor Harold Wiest officiating. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC SPCA in memory of Nancy would be appreciated.

Naething could resist my Nancy ...

Fare-the-weel, thou best and dearest!...
