Daughter of Morley and the late Catherine Bursey. Beloved wife of Peter Kooistra and the late Bill Edgecombe. Loving mother of RCMP Staff Sergeant Randell (Wayne) Edgecombe and his wife Carol Ann of Burin, Nfld. Predeceased by her son John Arthur Edgecombe. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Katherine (Katie) and Matthew Edgecombe. Dear sister of Derrick Bursey and wife Maxine of St. John’s and James Bursey and wife Katherine of Ancaster, Ontario. Edith will be lovingly remembered by Annette, Anthony, Robin, and the rest of the Kooistra family and her many friends.
