GRAHAM, SUSANNA WHITMORE (COGSWELL) (HUGHES) – Peacefully at home with her husband at her side, Susanna Whitmore Graham went to her heavenly home on March 16, 2013. Born on March 4, 1917 in Lepreau, NB, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Susan (Donner) Cogswell. Susanna was the oldest of 12 siblings, a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She is survived by her devoted husband John Graham; sons Willard “Roy” Hughes and Raymond (Minnie) Hughes of Lepreau; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and most recently marking the sixth generation with a great-great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her first husband Willard Hughes; daughter-in-law Albina Hughes; grandsons Laurier, Mark, Floyd, Michael Hughes and Michael Perry; her six brothers and two of her five sisters.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home (646-2424). Visitations will take place at Bethany Independent Baptist Church (633 Route 790, Little Lepreau, NB E5J 2T1), on Monday, March 18 from 3 to 8 P.M. A funeral service will be held at Bethany Independent Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 19 at 1:00 P.M. Donations in memory of Susanna made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Susanna’s three great loves: FAITH, FAMILY, GARDEN. She loved to be surrounded by flowers and her family and friends.
