It is with great sadness that the families of Maxwell Simms announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Birchy Head, NL, on Friday, March 15th, 2013 at the age of 76 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Betty, son; Johnny, his grandson; Evan, his brother; John (Muriel) Simms, his in laws; Kyrle (Vera) Osmond, Jerry (Mary) Osmond, Johnny (Nina) Osmond, Minnie (John) O'Quinn, Ruby (Gary) Chaffey, Marie (Fred) Manuel, & Marina (Bernie) Sheaves, Maxwell was predeceased by his parents; Hubert & Irene Simms, & siblings; Hubert, Pearl & Mary, his parent in law; brothers in law; Eric & Roy, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, & a special girl Sheena. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of ones choice in Maxwell's memory would be gratefully appreciated by the families. As for Maxwell request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the Anglican Church, Birchy Head, NL, on Monday, March 18th, at 2 pm with Rev: Charlene Laing & Pastor: Derrick Frampton officiating with the Inurnment to follow at the Church Cemetery in Birchy Head, NL.
