Regan (Doucet), Mary Beatrice – 103, of Hubbard’s Point, passed away on March 13, 2013 in Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton. Born in Hubbard’s Point on June 14, 1909. Beatrice was a daughter of the late Josha and Eunice (Hubbard) Doucet. She is survived by her children, Gladys d’Entremont, Burlington, Ontario; Joyce Polar, St. Andrews, New Brunswick; Ruby Lavers, Truro; Joan d’Entremont, Hubbard’s Point; Bill (Joanne) Doucet, Ottawa; 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Doucet; second husband, Joseph Regan; three children at birth; siblings, Anthony Doucet, Joseph Doucet, Cora Deroin, Marion Burke and Margaret Green. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth with a visitation from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 15, with prayers at 8 p.m.. A funeral mass was held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, Ste. Anne-de-Ruisseau, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
