MORSE, Donald Osgood “Don”- 86, of Greenwood Square, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Greenwood Square, he was a son of the late Vernon and Ethel (Magee) Morse. Don retired at 65 after farming in Greenwood Square all his life. He enjoyed playing cards and seldom got beaten “his words”. Don had a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Ferna Collins, Middleton; sons, Gary Morse, Kentville; John (Janet) Morse and Philip Morse, both of Greenwood Square; daughters-in-law, Wendy (Morse) Henderson and Heather Morse; brother, Charles (Carol) Morse, Middleton; seven grandchildren, one step grandson, 14 great grandchildren and one step great grandson. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Alvah and Holmes; daughter-in-law, Patricia Morse and niece, Lynn. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Friday, March 22, 2013 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where a memorial service was held 2:00PM Saturday, March 23, 2013 with Rev.
