Anthony was born and raised in Long Harbour. He was a skilled carpenter who worked in Labrador City, St. John’s and after 22 years at ERCO he retired in 1989. He loved to fish, hunt, going into the woods to cut firewood and camping with his family. In the last few years he enjoyed looking at the construction across the harbour through his binoculars. The family wishes to extend appreciation for their care and compassion to Dr. Echendu and his team along with the amazing nursing staff on 4 west who are worth their weight in gold! We would also like to thank those who came to NL in the last two weeks to help with Mom and Dad’s care; as well as those who opened their homes to us Mrs. Hill, Daphne and Father Wayne. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice!
