Passed peacefully away at her home, Friday March 15th, 2013 in the presence of her family Melinda Mary Harnett of Lord's Cove, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents Peter & Lucy Benteau, husband Bert Harnett, brothers Michael & Peter Benteau and sister Emma Harnett; Son-in-Law John Herlidan, grandson Corey Harnett. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Vivian Herlidan of Lord's Cove, Jeanette Drake(Robert) of Alberta, Ruth Stapleton(Keith) of Lamaline, three sons: Calvin Harnett of Ontario, John Harnett(Susan) of Nova Scotia, Gerard Harnett of Lord's Cove. Also, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. One brother, Leonard Benteau(Donna) of BC, Mary Hickman(Norman) of Nova Scotia, Susan Fitzpatrick(Martin) Lord's Cove, Lucy Hodge of Lord's Cove, Louise Lyall(Ralph) of Labrador, and a large circle of other relatives & friends. Funeral Mass was conducted by Father JJ from St Elizabeth's Church, Lord's Cove at 10am on Monday, March 18th, 2013. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of Cremains at a date and time to be decided. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
