It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Woodfine announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 at the age of 91 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: David (Lynn) Woodfine in Clarenville, Patrick (Debra) Woodfine, Joe (Paula) Woodfine all in Stephenville, Patsy (Tom) Doyle in Kippens, Madonna Corrigan in Stephenville, Nellie (Gordon) Bragg in Kippens, Julia (Peter) Gillis in Lawrencetown NS, Debbie Woodfine in Stephenville, Alice Cull in Lawrencetown, Darlene Greenham in Kippens and Tammy Woodfine in Stephenville. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers: Maurice, Frank; sisters: Rita, Sarah; 22 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Julia, his daughter Loretta MacDonald, his parents Patrick and Veronica. Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 25th, 2013 at 10:00 from St. Stephen’s Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
