Passed peacefully away at home in Oakland, Nova Scotia on March 19, 2013. She leaves to mourn her family, Catriona (Rob) Maloney, Graham (Lynn) Mowbray, Joan Mowbray, and Anne (Ron) Chisholm; 8 grandchildren; 6 (soon to be seven) great-grandchildren across Canada and her extended local family and neighbours, Rob Inness, Debbie Hawkes and their children. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob) Mowbray. The family would like to express their thanks for all the kindness and care given by Dr. Abud, the palliative care team, VON and the pharmacy staff of the Kinburn Pharmacy who made her last few days as comfortable as possible. We also thank Mum’s many friends and neighbours in Oakland and Mahone Bay who have been incredibly supportive during her brief illness.
