BRADSHAW, ROSE GERTRUDE - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Rose Bradshaw, devoted wife of the late Glendon D. Bradshaw of Saint John who passed away peacefully at the Loch Lomond Village on March 23, 2013. Born in Kentville, NS March of 1919 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Landry) Galley. Former member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Riverside Golf and Country Club, Trefoil Guild Girl Guides and the former Waterloo Street Baptist Church. She was an avid bridge player, enjoyed skating and curling. She loved spending time at the Cottage in St. Martins. Rose is survived by her daughters Cheryl Price (David) of Quispmasis and Debbra Creamer (Richard) of Amherst, NS; grandchildren Todd Price (Janet), Tracey Price-Emerson (Mitch), Ryan Price (Michelle), Alex Creamer (Nicole Bird) and Heather Creamer (Vincent Kouwenberg); four great grandchildren Rowan, Alex, Jaxon and Rhys; one brother Jack Galley (Barbara) of Lunenburg, NS; sister-in-law Peggy Bradshaw of Saint John; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents and her husband; Rose was predeceased by her brothers Charles, Harold, George and Arthur Galley; and sisters Jennie Kempton, Edna Duffey and Grace LaFleur.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 26th, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. followed by a reception.
