It is with overwhelming sadness that we say good-bye to Joanne Marie Dell of Summerside, Prince Edward Island (mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend). She passed away on March 20, 2013, at Red Deer Regional Hospital, Red Deer, Alberta, at the age of 61, after a courageous and painful battle with cancer. Joanne was born in Cape Breton, N.S., to Joan and Gilbert Genge. She spent her childhood in various cities across Canada while her father was in the military. She has lived in Prince Edward Island since 1989 and worked at the Canada Revenue Agency in Summerside since it opened. Joanne was an avid reader and cat lover. She also took pleasure from crossword puzzles and shopping for bargains. Joanne will be forever remembered by her sons, siblings and friends. She is survived by her children, Ryan (Christina) and Adam (Brie); grandchildren, John Stuart and Cara Joanne; siblings, Charles (Malanny) Genge, Kathy (Brian) Tuck, Lisa (Mark) Durling and Douglas Genge; niece, Keeley Tuck; and nephews, Redmond Tuck and Matthew Genge.
