It is with great sadness the family of the late William Mitchell of Lewin’s Cove announces his passing at the Miller Centre, St. John’s surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 23, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Ruby; sons Harold of Creston, David (Deana), Tom (Victoria) and Jerry (Gertrude) all of St. John’s; daughter Diane Chorney (Darrel) of Fort St. John; grandchildren Krista Peregoodoff (David), Emma Jane Mitchell and Lane Thomas Mitchell; sisters Mae McDougall, Margaret Bigger and Elizabeth Von Borziskowski; brother Clifford Mitchell (Esther) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Sunday from 3-9PM and Monday 10AM to 9PM. Funeral Service to take place from Hope United Church, Lewin’s Cove on Tuesday, March 26th at 2PM with interment following at United Cemetery, Lewin’s Cove.
