Passed peacefully away following cardiac arrest on Sunday March 24, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL, Roy James Ralph, age 67. Predeceased by his parents: Nathan and Edna and sister-in-law, Sandra. Left with many loving memories; his devoted wife and best friend, Marie; treasured son, Wayne and daughter-in-law, Anita; brother, Wayne and sister-in-law, Lin; nephew, Christopher and fiancé, Deanne Morgan; as well as a large circle of other relatives and many long lasting friendships; especially neighbours: Bruce and Pearl Mouland and Jack and Barbara Cossar. Roy’s career was spent at several breweries but the highlight of his 40 plus years was the last 15 years at Quidi Vidi Brewery, a place and people he loved dearly. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday from 5 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. There will be no funeral service. A reception to celebrate Roy’s life will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Quidi Vidi Brewing Company from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. For those who wish donations in Roy’s memory may be made to VOWR (101 Patrick Street, P.O.
