It is with deepest sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our dear brother and father, Carl MacLellan ‘Chainsaw’ on March 16, 2013, at Halifax, N.S.
Born Dec. 30, 1955 in Lingan, N.S., Carl was the son of the late John Archie and Jessie MacLellan.
Carl was a miner at Lingan Mine, N.S., for many years before moving to Halifax.
Carl is survived by his son, William David, Ontario; brothers, Peter, Alberta, Alex, Sydney, Scott, Halifax, and Louie, Lingan; sisters, Kathy, Sydney, Ann, Ben Eoin, Margie, Toronto, Joan and Diane, both of Montreal.
Carl was predeceased by brothers, John Allan, Danny, Michael, Robert and William and sisters, Rosemarie and Sandra.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
