It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Petit de Grat, he was a son of the late Harry and Veronique (Boudreau) Landry.
Everett will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Jean (Calder) Landry. He was a proud father to daughters, Nyrée (Darren), Ireland, Estée (Derrick), Dartmouth; sons, André (Tammy), Pickering; Gaétan, Halifax; a loving Papa to grandchildren, Blake, Avree and Emily (Derrick’s daughter); and devoted brother to Bernard (Barbara), Petit de Grat; sisters, Norma (Thilmond), Petit de Grat, and Mona (Gary), Janvrins Island.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Clarence.
Everett was a loyal and caring friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27 from 2-9 p.m. at IML Funeral Home, 3450 Highway 206, Petit de Grat.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Petit de Grat, with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. A reception will follow at St. Joseph’s parish hall. Burial will take place in the MacKay Cemetery, St. Georges Channel.
Memorial donations may be made to the palliative care unit of the Strait Richmond Hospital or to the MacKay Cemetery Association.
