SCOTSBURN – Alexander “Fraser” MacIntosh, 59, of Scotsburn, Pictou County, passed away at home on March 17, 2013.
Born June 8, 1953 in Scotsburn, he was a son of the late Annie “Isabel” (Henderson) and James “Jim” Wm. MacIntosh.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Cindy; chosen daughters, Jennifer (Joey) LeBlanc, Abercrombie and Terri (Shawn) Crockett, Halifax; siblings: Margaret (John Milton) MacKenzie, Scotsburn; Mary (Larry) McIntosh, Plenty, Saskatchewan; James (Joanne), New Glasgow; Lillian (Joe), Central Caribou; Lloyd (Judy) Scotsburn; aunt, Eva Morrison, Linacy; nieces, nephews and cousins; faithful companion, Dig-B; good friends, Keith MacDonald, John (son Rod), David and Ross Miller.
Fraser was a multi-talented person having worked in carpentry, farming and trucking. He was a Past Noble Grand of Scotsburn IOOF Lodge #140 and also a Past District Deputy of the IOOF Lodge.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, March 30 in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Family flowers only please. Donations in his memory may be made to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital, the Pictou County VON, or charity of your choice.
