Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, in the presence of his loving family, on March 26, 2013, Frederick Jones, aged 69 years. Predeceased by his parents Eleazer and Stella Jones. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife of 51 years Olga (nee Kennedy); his 5 daughters: Glenys Dempsey (Noel), Kelly Jones, Heather Lewis (Jerome), Sherry Squires (Barry), Dana (Tim); 8 grandchildren: Melissa, Nicole, Krystal, Morgan, Riley, River, Kyle and Lucas; brother, Nath; sister, Ruby; sisters-in-law: Joan Andrews, Sylvia Miller (Adrian), Elizabeth Pretty (Kevin); brothers-in-law: Angus Kennedy (Lois), Harry Kennedy (Wendy); nieces: Lisa Pollard and Laurie Jones; as well as other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Rob Power and the nurses and staff of 4 West at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, March 27, from 2 - 9 pm and on Thursday, March 28, from 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from The Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue, on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
