DEAN, LAVERNE DOROTHY - With her loving husband, Chris at her side the death of Laverne Dean occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born on June 29, 1953 in Saint John to the late Shirley Chapados. Laverne was a loving wife; she will always be remembered for her humour, devotion and gardening. She had a huge heart, she thought about everyone before herself, Laverne had a strong love for her family and friends. Besides her husband of 32 years, Chris; Laverne is survived by her sisters: Jennifer Chapados-Boules (Preston) of Saint John, Brenda Chase (Peter) of Nunavut and Beverley Chapados and Leona Chapadas both of British Columbia; brother, Brian Corbett of British Columbia and several nieces and nephews. Laverne was predeceased by her mother, Shirley Chapados and infant son, Bruce.
At Laverne’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
