Passed peacefully away after a lengthly illness Garland Douglas Canning on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 89th year. He will be sadly missed with fond and loving memories by his wife Naomi; sons: Raymond (Ruth) and Wesley (Grace); daughters: Margretta (Albert) and Bernetta (David); 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Zachuis & Dorothy brothers Rene, Tobias, Alfred and Herb and sister Myrtle. Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from the Pentecostal Church in Pasadena where also funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2:00 pm with interment at the family plot.
