Passed away on March, 19, 2013 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Mr. George Henry Genge of Anchor Point, NL, in his 92nd year. George leaves to mourn his wife Renie Genge; sons Lloyd (Larua), Kevin (Vera), and David (Susan); daughters Rachel (Jerome), Jocelyn (Edward), and Faye (Gary); and brothers Pearce and Garfield; sisters Margaret and Joanna, as well as 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In his time George seen the passing of his father and mother Arthur and Sarah, his son Barry and brothers and sisters Douglas, Emmanual, Rachel and Louria. Visitation took place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point, from where the funeral service took place at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 22 with Rev. Robert Rowlands officiating. Burial followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Anchor Point. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
