BOWER, Ruth Ann, 67, Shelburne, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, in Roseway Manor, Sandy Point, Shelburne Co. Born in Shelburne she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Virginia (Adams) Haskins. Ruth was a loving mother to her children. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She is survived by sons, Mike and Shawn, both of Ontario; sister, Carol Bower (Harley), as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Sharon Melanson. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, April 2 in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel, Shelburne, with Pastor Wayne Dooks officiating. Family flowers only. Interment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
