SEWELL, LOREEN VIRGINIA - With great sadness the family announces the passing of Loreen Virginia Sewell which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Born in Fosterville, NB, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Farrell and Martha (Anderson). Loreen worked as a hairdresser for many years and was a member of All Saints Anglican Church. In her earlier years she worked for the ammunition factory during WWII. Loreen was a stay at home mom she was a fabulous cook, loved to curl and play cards. She is survived by her daughters Carole Anne Collens of Woodstock, ON, Gloria Jean Gillespie (Craig) of Saint John, Nancy Mary Louise Roe (Brad) of Saint John; grandchildren Stephen, David, Cory, David, Amanda; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Nathaniel, Devin, Lauren, Steven; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Besides her parents, Loreen was predeceased by her husband Bernard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A Funeral service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 9 a.m. followed by an interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
