BUGGIE, MICHAEL JOACHIM - The death of Michael Joachim Buggie husband of Cheryl (Hayes) Buggie of Renous, NB, occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Moncton City Hospital at the age of 52. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Lyman and Carmelette (Donovan) Buggie. Michael was a member of St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous, NB, Principal of North and South Esk Elementary School, active member of St. Bridget's Parish Council, NB Liberal Association and the Renous/Quarryville Local Service District. Besides his wife: Cheryl, he is survived by: one daughter: Jennifer of Fredericton; one son: Jordan of Renous, NB; one sister: Lourdes Bell of Fredericton, NB; five brothers: Lynus of Fort McMurray, AB; Bill (Karen) of Fredericton, NB; Hollis (Eleanor) of Calgary, AB; Lyman of Fort McMurray, AB; Rodney (Lori) of Blackville, NB; many nieces, nephews, great nephews and great niece. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by: one sister: Margaret Anne Buggie and brother in law: Stephen Bell.
The family will receive visitors at St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday from 4 to 7 PM and on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM from St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church with Monsignor Joseph Woods officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery later in the spring. In Michael's memory, donations may be made to St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church or to a memorial of one's choice.
